Sikorsky Inks Army Contract

According to the Department of Defense, “Sikorsky Aircraft was awarded an $84, 599, 548 firm-fixed-price contract.  The award will provide for the conversion of seven aircraft to the Colombian Ministry of Defense to include publications and aircraft warranty.  Work will be performed in Stratford, Conn., with an estimated completion date of Nov. 30, 2014.  One bid was solicited with one bid received.  The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Army Contracting Center, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH23-02-C-0006).”
