SAIC Wins $85 Million Contract from US Air Force

SAIC (NYSE: SAI) announced it has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Air Force worth $85 million over a five-year base period. The firm will provide fighter operational test and evaluation services in support of the Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center.

“We look forward to using our demonstrated engineering and analytical expertise to provide AFOTEC with sophisticated operational test and evaluation services, ” said Charles Zang, SAIC senior vice president and business unit general manager. “SAIC will work diligently with AFOTEC and the USAF to field the latest stealth fighter technology, helping ensure systems are combat-capable and ready to support the warfighter.”

AFOTEC tests and evaluates new warfighting capabilities in operationally realistic environments, influencing and informing national resource decisions.
