General Services Administration Awards SAIC $10M IT Contract

The U.S. General Services Administration has awarded SAIC (NYSE: SAI) a $10 million prime, single-award contract to provide IT strategy and support services to the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Information & Technology. The contract has a one-year base period of performance and two one-year options. 

SAIC Vice President Steve Comber said: “We look forward to helping the VA establish and maintain a clear and repeatable IT strategic planning process and framework that enables OI&T to align its strategic, financial and operational business plans to ensure timely benefits and services for veterans and their families.”

Among other support functions, SAIC will help the Veterans Affairs Office develop and maintain a strategic information resources management plan and analyze business strategy.
