As part of a series of strategic growth efforts, compliance and regulatory industry veterans Jeannie Lewis and Bryan Morris will join Deloitte‘s Asset Management Services’ governance, risk and regulatory practice, with April Lemay, principal, Deloitte & Touche LLP, assuming leadership of the team.

Lewis brings more than 20 years’ regulatory experience to her role as a principal in Deloitte & Touche LLP. She provides regulatory, compliance, risk management, litigation support and business advisory services to Deloitte’s traditional advisory clients, investment companies, fund of funds, financial intermediaries, service providers, and private funds. She joins Deloitte from Driehaus Capital Management LLC, where she served as assistant general counsel from 2007 until 2010.
Lemay has more than 14 years’ financial services experience and will lead asset management services efforts in external audit, internal audit, valuation and securitization, risk and regulatory, financial accounting and reporting, security and privacy, internal controls, finance transformation, and operations and technology. Her career began with Deloitte in 1996 and she became a principal of Deloitte & Touche LLP in 2007. Throughout her time with Deloitte, Lemay has specialized in operational efficiency, regulatory compliance and internal control consulting services.
Morris brings more than 12 years’ industry experience to his role as a partner in Deloitte & Touche LLP. In his leadership role within the asset management services practice for the Southeast region, he provides audit and regulatory compliance assistance to Deloitte’s asset management clients in the region. Morris joins Deloitte from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, where he served as a professional accounting fellow in the Office of the Chief Accountant, Division of Investment Management since 2007.
