Boeing Picks up Air Force Delivery Order, Awarded Contract Modifications

Aerospace giant Boeing (NYSE: BA) picked up two Air Force contract modifications and an Air Force aircraft delivery order, according to the Defense Department’s latest tally of contracts.

Boeing’s Long Beach, Calif., practice has been awarded a $962 million firm fixed-price delivery order against the basic C-17 production contract to procure five C-17 aircraft.  So far, about $471 has been obligated.

Boeing’s St. Louis, Mo., location was awarded a $9.28 million firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide a quantity of 389 MK-82 SAASM/AJ Joint Direct Attack Munitions under production Lot 15.  Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

Finally, Boeing’s  Newark, Ohio, location was awarded a $7.13 million contract modification to provide Minuteman III guidance repair.
