Oracle Corporation (NASDAQ: ORCL) announced this week new benchmark results for its SPARC T-Series and SPARC Enterprise M-Series servers.
“Oracle is committed to at least doubling application performance every two years on its SPARC servers with innovative hardware features, engineered and tuned to maximize our award-winning software, ” said Masood Heydari, Oracle’s vice president of hardware development. “These results demonstrate that Oracle’s tightly integrated solutions continue to drive better performance, scalability, systems throughput and security while delivering unrivaled customer value.”
According to the firm, the new benchmarks add to its slate of more than 70 previous record-breaking performance results delivered by SPARC-based systems. Previous records include those for database, Java, web and enterprise applications.
