Northrop Grumman (NYSE:NOC) secured a five-year contract worth $99 million from Air Force Central Command to perform base security operations and support services at overseas U.S. air bases.
According to the firm, Northrop Grumman oversee different training, management and administrative tasks.
“We are extremely pleased to be selected by our AFCENT customer to continue to provide security services, ” said Bill Carty, vice president and general manager of Northrop Grumman Technical Services’ Defense and Government Services division. “We are keenly focused on our customer’s requirements and always look to provide value added solutions gained through years of experience in the theater of operations and innovation.”
