Lockheed Grabs $500 Million Modification

According to the Department of Defense, “Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) was issued a modification exercising the second option year on the current contract SPM540-06-D-BP01/P00184.  Award is a fixed-price with economic price adjustment, industrial product-support vendor contract with a maximum $500, 000, 000 providing broad supply chain management and logistical support of spare parts and industrial hardware relating to maintenance, overhaul, and repair missions.  Other locations of performance are Georgia, Oklahoma, and Utah.  Using service is Air Force.  The date of performance completion is April 19, 2013.  The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity.”
