Board Shakeup at L-3

L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL) announced today that retired Army Gen. H. Hugh Shelton has been elected to its board of directors following the retirement of retired Army Gen. John M. Shalikashvili.

“General Shelton brings to L-3 a broad-based strategic perspective on military and global affairs, a wealth of leadership experience and business acumen regarding technology and national security requirements, ” CEO Michael T. Strianese. “We are both honored and proud that General Shelton will be part of L-3. At the same time, we appreciate the 12 years of leadership and service that General Shalikashvili provided to L-3 and to the Board, and we are pleased that he will continue to advise L-3 as Director Emeritus.”
