Score Four DoD Deals for Lockheed Martin

According to the Department of Defense, “Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) is being awarded a $376, 621, 375 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-11-C-2300) to contractually authorize fiscal 2011 Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) construction.  Work will be performed in Marinette, Wis. (56 percent); Walpole, Mass. (14 percent); Washington, D.C. (12 percent); Oldsmar, Fla. (4 percent); Beloit, Wis. (3 percent); Moorestown, N.J. (2 percent); Minneapolis, Minn. (2 percent); and various locations of less than one percent each, totaling seven percent.  Work is expected to be complete by April 2016.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

“Lockheed Martin is being awarded an $18, 546, 522 firm-fixed-price contract modification for non-recurring labor, materials and 233 kits to update the configuration of the electronics warfare power supply on the F-22 fleet.  Work will be performed at Marietta, Ga.; Fort Worth, Texas; and Nashua, N.H.  Funds in the amount of $7, 591, 956 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  ASC/WWUK, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8611-08-C-2897 PO0079).

“Lockheed Martin is being awarded an $8, 535, 264.31 firm-fixed-price contract modification which will provide C-130J logistics support through Jan. 31, 2012.  Work will be performed at Lockheed Martin Corp., Marietta, Ga., and is expected to be complete Jan. 31, 2012.  ASC/WLNNC, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8625-11-C6597).

“Lockheed Martin was awarded an $8, 700, 000 cost-plus-incentive-fee contract.  The award will provide for the funding of the missile segment enhancement contract overrun.  Work will be performed in Dallas, Texas; Camden, Ariz.; and Ocala, Fla., with an estimated completion date of Feb. 29, 2012.  One bid was solicited with one bid received.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Aviation and Missile Contracting Center, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH01-03-C-0164).”
