Qwest Communications (NYSE: Q) secured a multi-year task order for data services from the Defense Information Systems Agency/Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization.
The deal is valued at over $100 million.
“Qwest is a longtime communications partner of the DoD, ” said Diana Gowen, senior vice president and general manager of Qwest Government Services in Arlington, Va. “We are pleased that through this task order Qwest will continue its relationship with DoD to provide advanced data services, which are crucial components of our nation’s defense systems.”
