General Dynamics Books Trio of MRAP Mods Worth $41 Million

General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) Land Systems–Canada secured three contract modifications worth $41.4 million from the U.S. Marine Corps Systems Command for upgrade kits for RG-31 Mk5E vehicles.

The vehicles were delivered under the Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle program.

According to the firm, “the kits will enhance the survivability and operation of the RG-31 vehicles to the latest production configuration. The delivery of the kits is expected to be completed by January 2012.”

The contracts were signed through the Canadian Commercial Corporation, a Crown Agency of the Canadian Government.
