According to the Department of Defense, “General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) is being awarded a $17, 932, 954 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-10-C-0014) for the full-rate production of 68 Type 3 advanced mission computers for the F/A-18E/F and E/A-18G aircrafts. Work will be performed in Bloomington, Minn., and is expected to be completed in December 2012. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.”
