Capgemini Government announced that former Washington D.C. Mayor Adrian Fenty has joined the firm as a strategic advisor to Capgemini’s Government Solutions business.
“Mayor Fenty is an invaluable addition, bringing a unique executive perspective to our team – especially on challenges governments face at the state and local levels, ” CEO Joe Moye said. “His career in public service inside the beltway, and his influence throughout the nation, has provided him with substantial experience and an innovative approach to effective leadership and civic engagement.”
Fenty, the youngest mayor in Washington, D.C. history, will support the firm’s State and Local Government practice.
“Throughout my tenure as an elected official, I worked to find efficiencies and cost savings in the operations of government to better serve my constituents, ” Fenty said. “Capgemini has the experience and capacity to help governments by implementing effective measures through an array of innovative IT solutions.
