ARINC, ITT Secure Defense Deals

According to the Department of Defense, “ARINC was awarded a $41, 722, 209 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract.  The award will provide for one year of contractor logistics services option for the MI-17 aircraft.  Work will be performed in Iraq, with an estimated completion date of March 31, 2012.  One bid was solicited with one bid received.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-09-C-0028).

“ITT (NYSE: ITT) was awarded a $40, 568, 603 firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract.  The award will provide for maintenance, supply and transportation services in support of the Army Preposition Stocks – Kuwait and direct theater support for Southwest Asia missions.  Work will be performed in Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, with an estimated completion date of Feb. 28, 2015.  The bid was solicited through the Internet with five bids received.  The U.S. Army Rock Island Contracting Center, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (W911SE-07-D-0006).”
