Wednesday DoD Winners Include ITT, 2020

According to the Department of Defense, “2020 Company was awarded an estimated $51, 351, 954 contract modification for the Technical and Acquisition Management Support Program, which provides for a wide range of diverse non-engineering, technical and acquisition management support required in the acquisition, development, production, and support of various equipment and weapon systems within the Air Armament Center and other organizations at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla.  This is an option exercise for one of the three multiaward TAMS 4 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts.  At this time, zero dollars have been obligated.  AAC/PKES, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., is the contracting activity (FA9200-10-D-0018)

“ITT (NYSE: ITT) is being awarded a $14, 866, 314 firm-fixed-price contract for the manufacture and delivery of six full rate production Lot 8 AN/ALQ-214(V)3 onboard jammer systems for installation on the F/A-18E/F aircraft.  The AN/AQ-214 onboard jammer is a major subsystem of the Integrated Defensive Electronic Countermeasures (IDECM) Radio Frequency Countermeasures (RFCM) Program.  The IDEMC RFCM system is a radio frequency (RF) self-protection electronic countermeasures suite that improves the survivability of tactical combat Navy aircraft against RF guided surface-to-air and air-to-air missiles.  Work will be performed in Clifton, N.J., and is expected to be completed in November 2013.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was not competitively procured.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-11-C-0002).”
