Lockheed Wraps Up Pair of Defense Deals

According to the Department of Defense, “Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) was awarded an $8, 881, 386 contract modification for the C-5 Reliability Enhancement and Re-Engineering Program Lot 4 readiness spares package, part two, for Dover and Travis Air Force Bases.  At this time, $8, 881, 386 has been obligated.  ASC/WLSK, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8625-07-C-6471; P00076).

“Lockheed Martin is being awarded a $7, 606, 178 modification (P00003) to previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N00030-10-C-0026) to the United Kingdom technical services contract in support of the TRIDENT Strategic Weapons System, providing for the Collaborative Replacement Material Experiment Two.  Work will be performed primarily in Sunnyvale, Calif., and is expected to be completed March 31, 2014.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Navy Strategic Systems Programs, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.”
