According to the Department of Defense, “Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) was awarded a $22, 197, 000 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract. The award will provide for upgrade kits including installation and training for Multiple Launch Rocket System M270 launchers to meet the requirements of the Universal Fire Control System. Work will be performed in Grand Prairie, Texas, and Camden, Ark., with an estimated completion date of Aug. 31, 2012. One bid was solicited with one bid received. The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W31P4Q-11-C-0171).”
