Harris (NYSE: HRS) signed a one-year, $11 million contract with the U.S. Air National Guard to “provide IT system standardization and upgrades at nine initial sites.”
With the deal in place, the firm will handle site surveys, design, installation and certification for upgraded major communications subsystems.
“This core communications systems upgrade is yet another key contract for Harris as a trusted IT integrator and mission partner with the Air National Guard, ” said Mike Deloney, vice president and general manager, Department of Defense Programs, Harris IT Services.
