General Dynamics IT (NYSE: GD) secured a spot on the Army’s HR Solutions Personnel Support Services ID/IQ contract. The multiple award deal carries a five-year term if all options are exercised.
The firm is one of 17 that will work on the contract.
Under this contract, General Dynamics will focus on personnel lifecycle support, well-being programs and helpdesk functions.
“Our in-depth understanding of Army and other DoD organizations’ human resource requirements and our execution of the specified processes for meeting those HR challenges allow warfighters to concentrate on mission-critical operations and tasks, ” said Zannie Smith, senior vice president of General Dynamics Information Technology’s Army Solutions Division. “Our team will deliver human capital management support services and mission support expertise; General Dynamics has established itself as leader in this field, with many years of experience supporting U.S. Army installations and forward deployed units.”
