According to the Department of Defense, “BAE Systems is being awarded a $19, 733, 804 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for development of the fixed wing Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System II for the AV-8B and A-10 aircraft to support a joint capability technology demonstration. Work will be performed in Nashua, N.H., and is expected to be completed in May 2013. Contract funds in the amount of $7, 519, 430 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-11-C-0033).”
