Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) is now able to support an information-protection solution for 64-bit computing with its new SureView 6.6 product.

According to the firm, “SureView captures malicious activity by proactively auditing end-user behavior on computer endpoints for policy violations and high-risk activity such as accessing classified or proprietary data and trying to send it outside the firewall. Whether an incident is accidental or deliberate, SureView provides customers complete visibility to fix broken policies or business procedures all while respecting employee privacy guidelines.”

“An organization’s intellectual property, its discoveries, inventions, trademarks, patents and trade secrets are its lifeblood, ” said Steve Hawkins, vice president of Raytheon’s Information Security Solutions product line. “Recent security breaches of classified documents show how easily information can be exploited, especially from a trusted insider, and stress the need for powerful information-protection solutions.”
