ICF Gets on Track with TRAIN II Deal

ICF International (NASDAQ:ICFI) won a spot on an ID/IQ contract from the U.S. Army Research Institute for the Behavioral and Social Sciences to work on the Research, Development, and Analysis in Army Training (TRAIN II) program.

The contract has a ceiling of $30 million for the firm, with a one-year base term and four option years.

According to the firm, “ICF’s work involves research and analysis projects in the area of human resources-related military personnel training focused on leadership and leader development. Based on its extensive experience in this area, ICF will provide a means to complement ARI’s ongoing Army training research programs by addressing ways to make training more effective and efficient.”

“ICF is the only consultant that holds a prime position on each of ARI’s two ID/IQ contracts, ” ICF Principal Christina Curnow said. “This unique position enables ICF to provide high-end research and analysis solutions to help the Army solve training challenges that result from rapidly changing requirements of the contemporary operational environment.”
