According to the Department of Defense, “Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) was awarded a $34, 124, 505 contract modification which will provide for an extension on the maintenance and support of the Battlefield Airborne Communications Node payload in support of overseas contingency operations. At this time, $10, 000, 000 has been obligated. ESC/Airborne Networks Division, Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., is the contracting activity (FA8726-09-C-0010; P00020).
“Boeing (NYSE: BA) was awarded an $11, 084, 230 contract which will provide Minuteman III guidance repair. At this time, the entire amount has been obligated. OO-ALC/AFNWC/PKME, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity (F42610-99-D-0006).
“Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) was awarded a $7, 969, 595 contract which will provide sustaining engineering efforts on systems, structures, products or materials required to resolve technical or supportability efficiency, and technical order sustainment, on the C-5 aircraft. At this time, no money has been obligated. WR-ALC/GRSKA, Robins Air Force Base, Ga., is the contracting activity (FA8525-11-D-0003).
“Honeywell (NYSE: HON) was awarded a $7, 118, 000 contract modification which will provide for procurement of a transportable remote tracking station block chance core electronics configured item fan. At this time, the entire amount has been obligated. SMC/PKT, Kirtland Air Force Base, N.M., is the contracting activity (F04701-02-D-0006).
“Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) is being awarded a $43, 739, 721 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-10-C-2203) for lifecycle engineering and support services for LPD 17 class integrated shipboard electronic systems. The following services will be provided: post-delivery planning, logistics and engineering, homeport technical support, integrated product data environment, data maintenance, equipment management, systems integration and design engineering, software support, research engineering, obsolescence management (both technical and logistics), material readiness support, emergent repair planning, training and logistics support; planning yard support of integrated electronic systems, including fleet modernization program planning, ship alteration development and installation, material management, configuration data management, research engineering, logistics documentation, and other logistics and executing activity coordination, and management; performance-based logistics support, including providing sustaining engineering and obsolescence management support for unique LPD 17-class integrated shipboard electronic systems. Work will be performed in Pascagoula, Miss., and is expected to be completed by December 2011. Contract funds in the amount of $109, 947 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
“Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) is being awarded a $37, 988, 628 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-10-C-2205) for lifecycle engineering and support services for LPD 17 class integrated shipboard electronic systems. “Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) is being awarded a $16, 954, 592 ceiling priced order #0001 under a previously awarded contract (N00383-10-G-005H) for repair of the AN/APG-79 radar in support of the F/A-18 aircraft. Work will be performed in Forest, Miss., and is expected to be completed by June 2012. Contract funds will not expire before the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity.
“URS Federal Technical Services is being awarded a $13, 808, 669 cost-plus-fixed fee contract to provide professional support services in support of submarine towed array systems, associated component systems and hull sensor systems. This contract will include services in the areas of program analysis, development, control and monitoring, administration, communication, human resources, business, finance, cost estimating, technical and engineering support, information technology, and lifecycle support. Work will be performed in Washington, D.C., and is expected to be completed by January 2011. Contract funds in the amount of $300, 000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
