SAIC Wins C4I Work with Navy Worth $42 Million

SAIC (NYSE: SAI) claimed a contract from the U.S. Navy Program Executive Office to provide C4I in support of the Command and Control Program Office with tactical data link  engineering and technical support.

The deal carries a maximum value of $42 million with a one-year base term and four one-year options.

With the deal in place, SAIC will provide technical data link systems engineering for “the development, testing and certification of new capabilities.”

“We look forward to continuing to provide quality engineering and technical services to help rapidly field interoperable TDL capabilities to fulfill the evolving requirements of Naval warfighters, ” said Tom Baybrook, SAIC senior vice president and business unit general manager.
