ManTech Raises $100K for Vets in Need; CEO George Pedersen Remarks

ManTech (NASDAQ: MANT) raised $100, 000 to support wounded veterans and the hungry via the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund and LIFT programs.

According to the firm, the money will be directed to the charities through CharityWorks.

The programs help combat poverty among vets and their families with a range of services from training to food bank organization.

“ManTech’s employees and leadership are honored to contribute to the CharityWorks 2010 partner organizations, Semper Fi and LIFT, as they support our injured veterans and those in need, “ CEO George Pedersen said. “ManTech recognizes the sacrifices made by the brave men and women of our armed forces who have been injured in the line of duty, as well as the struggles many families face in unstable economic times.”
