HP business development executive Sean Mullen spoke with ExecutiveBiz about defense budget realities and the market hot spots that are rapidly developing:
“So far, Mullen is leaving nothing to chance. Especially at a time of budget uncertainty among DoD customers, coupled with threats beyond. ‘Everything we do, when we deliver to our customers in this unique DoD environment, has to be with the wrapping of cyber and security, ‘ Mullen said.
“True to form, Mullen is getting the word out about current HP offerings: cloud computing, software as a service, converged infrastructure, among them. ‘These, to me, line up nicely with where the DoD is headed with some of their budget challenges, ” Mullen said. “We are hitting on all of the objectives that the DoD needs, which is ‘more for less, ’ in terms of dollars, and in an absolutely secure environment.’”
