Good News for Unisys, Part 1: CDC Data Center Reaches High-Level Certification; Ted Davies Comments

The Unisys (NYSE: UIS) -backed CDC Mid-Tier Data Center in Atlanta, is now one of the first government data centers deemed compliant with the ISO/IEC 20000 standard “for best practices related to delivering managed services that meet business and customer requirements.”

Unisys has helped the CDC run the center since 2003.

“We congratulate CDC on obtaining this certification, a distinction achieved by only 33 organizations in the United States, ” said Ted Davies, president of Unisys Federal Systems. “We are proud of the role played by Unisys in assisting the CDC in earning this certification and will continue to work with the agency to provide superior service to CDC data center clients.”
