BAE Systems Grabs Quartet of DoD Contracts

According to the Department of Defense, “BAE Systems is being awarded $16, 375, 169 for firm-fixed-priced delivery order #0006 modification #08 under previously awarded contract (M67854-07-D-5030) for the procurement of the following:  Kuwait field service representatives;  home station training travel support; continental United States (CONUS) instructors; and outside the continental United States (OCONUS) FSRs.  Work will be performed in CONUS and OCONUS locations, and is expected to be completed by the end of November 2011.  Procurement funds will not expire by the end of the current fiscal year.  Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Va., is the contracting activity.

“BAE Systems is being awarded a $38, 148, 067 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-06-C-4408) for repairs to the USS Chosin (CG 65).  This repair is for USS Chosin depot selected restricted availability in support of the cruiser modernization program.  Work will be performed in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and has a completion date of July 2011.  Contract funds in the amount of $38, 148, 067 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, is the contracting activity.

“BAE Systems was awarded a $28, 908, 720 contract which will provide engineering service assistance in the activation of an organic depot repair capability at Warner Robins Air Logistics Center for the F-16 AN/APX-113 identification, friend or foe system.  At this time, the entire amount has been obligated.  WR-ALC/GRWKA, Robins Air Force Base, Ga., is the contracting activity (FA8523-11-C-0002).

“BAE Systems was awarded a $12, 031, 212 contract which will provide for C-130J/J-30 Loadmaster crashworthy seats systems for up to 88 systems plus first articles (seven systems) and logistical spares (six systems).  At this time, $8, 462, 981 has been obligated.  WR-ALC/GRBK, Robins Air Force Base, Ga., is the contracting activity (FA8504-11-D-0003).”
