Vice president of Contracts at USIS Jeff Johnson spoke with ExecutiveBiz about the need to stop wasting time with lengthy meetings:
“When you have bigger meetings, there are so many different competing resources for time, ” he said, according to ExecutiveBiz.
Single subject meetings (SSMs), however, usually gather a small group, under 10 participants, of subject-matter experts who can really dig into the details of an issue or opportunity, the publication noted.
“When we identify a need for an SSM, we identify absolutely those specific individuals who are extremely essential in implementing, training, adopting, or reporting on any given issue, ” Johnson said.
