Datagate is looking for a dynamic and well organized customer orientated Principle Solutions Engineer to lead a team in support business development in both pre-sales and post-sales activities for the design and sale of Datagate Cross Domain Solutions. A candidate would report to the Datagate Product Manager and is expected to work with members of an integrated team, with other vendors, and Government organizations. The successful candidate will coordinate system build out and deployment, pre and post sales engineering support, customer training, and coordinate with overseas developers with bug fixes and product development. A candidate will create Cross Domain Solution designs based upon customer requirements for sales proposals, and will implement the solution after the sale. Solution Engineers support the implementation of Datagate Solutions and conduct customer training at multiple CONUS locations. A candidate’s regular duties will include: – Direct and perform solution development, testing, delivery, and customer installations. – Ensure delivery dates are met. – Evaluation and functional testing of new products and software updates. – Coordinate for and assist with sales presentations/demonstrations and customer training. – System maintenance of lab environment and demonstration equipment. – Routine & Advanced troubleshooting in support of customers – Inspection and testing of completed system for Quality Assurance.
