Swedish Military Accepts ITT’s Coastal Surveillance Radar

ITT Corporation (NYSE:ITT) successfully finalized preliminary testing on its new coastal surveillance radar system developed for the Swedish Defence Material Administration (FMV).

Bill Devlin, vice president of ITT’s radar, reconnaissance and acoustic sensors business unit said “This successful milestone culminates more than three years of development work to upgrade Sweden’s coastal surveillance radar systems.  ITT will move forward with full rate production to provide Sweden’s defense forces with greatly improved capabilities to protect their coastal borders.”
