QinetiQ North America has appointed Steven Stratton senior vice president for business development, a role in which his responsibilities will include coordinating and integrating business development across the company’s operating groups, as well as leading the company’s continued growth.
Mike Stolarik, president and chief operating officer of QinetiQ North America, said: “Steve is a terrific addition to our executive team. He brings us more than 30 years of experience in our industry. His knowledge of the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security is especially deep, and he also knows the major systems integrators. He has exactly the right expertise to take us forward as we consolidate our position in the market and prepare to continue our excellent record of growth.”
Before joining QinetiQ North America, Stratton was at Commercial Data Systems, Inc., where he served most recently as vice president of federal sales. Prior to Commercial Data Systems, Stratton’s career included stints at SAIC and Sun Microsystems. He is also a veteran of the U.S. Army Special Forces and the U.S. Secret Service.
