
Alion Cares finished a strong fundraising campaign for “Our Military Kids, ” nearly doubling the target total of $25, 000.
According to the firm, “the campaign was strong from beginning to end, with the result being a donation of $47, 072 to Our Military Kids. The addition of having a competition between our sectors, to see who could raise the most, provided extra motivation and contributed to the success.”
Over the summer months, the firm staged a number of events from golf tournaments to raffles for prizes to raise funds for the cause.
In a ceremony held at Alion’s corporate office, CEO Bahman Atefi and COO Stacy Mendler, presented a check to Linda Davidson, executive director of Our Military Kids.
