Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) Information Systems CFO Steve Movius spoke with ExecutiveBiz about the evolving marketplace and the benefits of proactive vs. reactive stances.
“It’s a tough marketplace right now, ” he said. “Federal and state and local governments are challenged with tight budgets, and competition in the marketplace is getting fiercer. The marketplace is constantly shifting, and you must be able to anticipate those shifts. If you’re reactive, your odds of success are lower. To the extent that you’re proactive, you have a better chance of doing well.”
