Lockheed Martin Wins a Variety of Defense Deals

According to the Department of Defense, “Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) was awarded a $34, 872, 566 firm-fixed-price contract for Javelin hardware with an estimated completion date of Oct. 30, 2012.  Work is to be performed at Tucson, Ariz., and Orlando, Fla.  One bid was solicited with one received.  U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W321P4Q-09-C-0376; Serial #1996).

Lockheed Martin was awarded an $11, 718, 116 contract modification, which will procure software fixes under the reliability and maintainability maturation program.  At this time, the entire amount has been obligated.  ASC/WWUK, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8611-08-C-2897; PO0054).

Lockheed Martin was awarded an estimated $9, 772, 670 contract modification for the removal and replacement of 26 total prototype aft crown skins on one C-5A aircraft, which includes repairing any underlying damage that may be discovered when the skins are removed.  At this time, $9, 772, 670 has been obligated.  WR-ALC/GRSKA, Robins Air Force Base, Ga., is the contracting agency (FA8525-10-C-0003).”
