Harris Creates USB Thumb Drive for the Spy on the Go; Richard White Comments

Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS) rolled out a new USB thumb drive that is able to locate and extract targeted data from computers in a hurry.

“BlackJack” was created for use by military, intelligence, and law-enforcement cybersecurity missions, with a focus on the speed and accuracy critical to such operations.

According to the firm, the device boots in less than three seconds, and automatically scans and copies data by prioritizing search criteria and securely partitions search results for analysis.

There are also LED indicators that will confirm whether there is targeted data present, to quickly ascertain the value of the targeted computer.

“This is a true breakthrough for the military, intelligence, and law enforcement communities that provide advanced computer forensics in the field without leaving a telltale footprint behind, ” said Richard White, vice president, Advanced Information Solutions, Harris Government Communications Systems. “The BlackJack solution is lightning-fast, durable and has the potential for application in other markets, including corporate computer forensics.”
