General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) VP of Advanced Information Systems’ cyber division Nadia Short has joined the board of directors at the National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA).
According to the firm, “NCSA is a nonprofit, public-private partnership focused on educating and raising awareness for cybersecurity to help a digital citizenry stay safe and secure. It works across government, private, nonprofit and academic organizations toward that mission.”
Short is excited to help the organization reach its goal of spreading awareness of cybersecurity.
“Cybersecurity now affects everyone, ” she said. “We are moving toward a post-desktop computer era, where our interaction with cyberspace is becoming seamless in our daily lives. “We believe in the mission of the NCSA, and I look forward to working with its board to increase cybersecurity awareness and Internet safety.”
