Boeing, ITT, Raytheon Snag Defense Work

According to the Department of Defense, “Boeing (NYSE: BA) is being awarded a maximum $48, 573, 000 firm-fixed-price contract to rotary wing head.  There are no other locations of performance.  Using service is Army.  There were originally two proposals solicited with two responses.  The date of performance completion is March 2013. The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (SPRRA1-10-D-0073).

“ITT (NYSE: ITT) is being awarded a maximum $7, 143, 300 firm-fixed-price, sole-source contract for aircraft parts.  There are no other locations of performance.  Using service is Navy.  There was originally one proposal solicited with one response.  The date of performance completion is Sept. 30, 2012.  The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPRPA1-10-C-002Y).

“Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) is being awarded an estimated $49, 800, 000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite quantity contract for services to perform the function as a single-source integrator for the remanufacture, overhaul or repair of selected secondary repairable items.  This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $249, 000, 000.  Work will be performed in Marine Corps Logistics Command, Albany, Ga. (62 percent); Marine Corps Logistics Command, Barstow, Calif. (14 percent); Camp Pendleton, Calif. (11 percent); Camp Lejeune, N.C. (9 percent); and Okinawa, Japan (4 percent).  Work is expected to be completed in September 2015.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was competitively procured via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website, with four offers received.  The Marine Corps Logistics Command, Contracting Department, Albany, Ga., is the contracting activity (M67004-10-D-0021).”
