Boeing, Booz Allen Each Win Pair of DoD Contracts

According to the Department of Defense, “Boeing (NYSE: BA) is being awarded a $5, 703, 137 not-to-exceed modification to a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (N00019-08-D-0013) to provide 2, 100 hours of persistent unmanned aerial vehicle intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance services in support of naval maritime missions.  Work will be performed in Bingen, Wash. (94 percent) and St. Louis, Mo. (6 percent), and is expected to be completed in September 2011.  Contract funds in the amount of $5, 703, 173 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Boeing was awarded on Sept. 22, 2010 a $14, 250, 000 cost plus fixed fee contract.  This contract is for tactical intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance collection, processing, exploitation and dissemination capability standup and demonstration.  work is to be performed in Philadelphia, Pa., (70 percent), Denver, Colo., (11 percent), Middletown, Del., (7 percent), Grand Rapid, Mich., (7 percent), and Kansas City, Mo., (5 percent) with an estimated completion date of Apr. 30, 2011.  One bid was solicited with one bid received.  U.S. Contracting Center, Aviation Applied Technology Directorate Contracting Office, Fort Eustis, Va., is the contracting activity (W911W6-07-D-0002).

Booz Allen Hamilton was awarded a $12, 896, 387 contract, which will provide joint command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance interoperability test and evaluation survivability and lethality analysis for the Interoperability Test and Evaluation Capability Project.  At this time, $10, 000 has been obligated. 55 CONS/LGCD, Offutt Air Force Base, Neb. is the contracting activity. Booz Allen Hamilton was awarded a $9, 919, 584 contract, which will provide North American Aerospace Defense Command and United States Northern Command Interagency mission survivability and vulnerability analysis and development.  At this time, $396, 825 has been obligated. 55 CONS/LGCD, Offutt Air Force Base, Neb. is the contracting activity.
