Harris IT Picks Up CMMI Level 3 Rating

Harris Corporation’s (NYSE:HRS) IT services business earned a Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) V1.2 (DEV) Maturity Level 3 rating.

The rating validates the Harris IT Services systems integration processes.

“This CMMI Level 3 rating demonstrates our commitment to delivering best-practice solutions to our customers, ” said Ted Hengst, president, Harris IT Services. “Level 3 indicates that our integrated processes and management activities deliver superior and efficient product, system, and service solutions.”

Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has been awarded a $709.8M contract modification by Naval Air Systems Command to obtain materials needed for the low-rate initial production of additional F-35 jets for U.S. and foreign military sales customers.
