CGI Extends Stanley Tender; Awaiting Clearances

CGI Group (NYSE: GIB) has once again extended its $903 million tender offer for Stanley.

The new extension lasts through August 2.  The previous extension expired last week.

CGI notes that approximately 84 percent of Stanley’s shares have been tendered, but that the deal was still awaiting regulatory clearances.

CGI agreed to purchase Stanley in May for $37.50 per share in cash, a move approved by boards of both companies.
