Job Description

Responsible for all aspects of government and commercial business development to include identification, qualification, and positioning for new business. The candidate must have the demonstrated ability to develop account management and capture plans; identify, qualify and capture opportunities; and support proposals. The candidate will develop and close major pursuits, drive teaming arrangements, manage customer relationships and call plans, develop solution concepts, and monitor contracting information and opportunities.
Expand industry awareness of L-3 GS&ES services through participation in industry associations, contacts with industry executives, contacts with executives of client organizations, etc.

Develop a strong understanding of each target client’s business operations and goals to perform new strategic activities with existing and new customers. Work with Business Group’s line management to develop account plans which support strategic business plans, goals, and strategies.

Formulate long-term strategies designed to attain a market leadership position for L-3 GS&ES service lines. Develop professional relationships with leaders in Government and industry and become known as a professional resource to the industry.
