L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL) has again been honored with the prestigious James S. Cogswell Outstanding Industrial Security Achievement Award from the U.S. Department of Defense, Defense Security Service (DSS).
According to the firm, “L-3’s Unmanned Systems facility in Easton, Md., and its services facility in Colorado Springs, Colo., were two of only nine recipients of this year’s award, selected from a field of 13, 000 contractor sites. The Cogswell Award recognizes industrial security excellence and is the highest honor a company can receive for excellence in the handling of classified information. Since 2008, L-3 Communications has been the recipient of five Cogswell Awards for outstanding security practices.”
