African Nation Orders Radios from Harris

Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS) received a $6 million order from an unnamed African nation for Falcon III RF-7800M multiband networking radios, universal remote controls and other tactical communications equipment.

According to Harris, “the field-proven RF-7800M is a wideband tactical radio that provides warfighters with unprecedented situational awareness of the battlefield through wireless, high-bandwidth networked communications. The radio enables applications such as streaming video, simultaneous voice and data feeds, collaborative chat and connectivity to secure networks, delivering critical real-time information to the battlefield in a small, lightweight man-portable radio.”
