The Advanced Technology and Solutions (ATS) Operating Unit of Defense Systems Division is seeking a Program Manager – Cyber Warfare Expert (CWE). In this position, the CWE will: Be responsible for establishing a multi-year Cyber strategy for ATS. This strategy will establish an actionable plan for growing ATS’s customer sales with Cyber-Security customers, primarily DoD customers. Be responsible for establishing a multi-year Cyber investment roadmap for ATS’s R&D investments. Provide leadership and direction to successfully turn R&D projects into demonstrable capabilities that influence customer decision makers. Lead a small group of cyber experts with diverse expertise and provide ‘operational relevance’ to technology/capability development efforts. Key technical areas include all aspects of computer network operations (CND/CNE/CNA); information operations; information assurance and integrity; information security; software engineering; information management; identity management; multi-level security; cryptography; and data exploitation and visualization; as applied to cyber security operations and mission management. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to developing new innovative concepts of operation, future state architectures, evaluating relevant technology and projecting needs for new technology, defining of measures of effectiveness and performance, and performing systems and enterprise-level modeling and simulation. Minimum Qualifications: BS Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering discipline Fifteen years of broad technical experience, with at least ten years of experience in cyber security discipline Active Secret level security clearance and the ability to travel (25%) Demonstrated significant competencies and achievements in all aspects of cyber network operations, including cyber intelligence collection and analysis Demonstrated ability to earn and maintain the respect of strong technical and tactical mission-oriented staff Effective communicator, capable of effectively translating and presenting complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical management and customers, through presentations and written media (white papers and demonstrations) Such industry-recognized certifications as SANS GIAC, CISSP, CISM, and CISA are strongly preferred Additional Attributes of Candidate include: Advanced (MS and/or PhD) technical degree; Past experience with one of the DoD/Intel communities highly desirable; Strategic and visionary in nature, able to see the big picture and capable of identifying relevant technology needs and solutions; Excellent understanding of the Cyberspace as a warfighter domain critical to the Joint Military Operations; Participation in cyber exercises (red/blue team experience) Good understanding of the relationships between information assurance, information operations, and cyber warfare ; Ability to work with vendor partners to transform emerging cyber technologies into operational capabilities Location: Herndon, VA Security Clearance Required
