Key Role:
Provide support to a team of engineers that ensure the 24×7 availability of a backup infrastructure. Maintain responsibility for maintaining mirrored installations of systems upgrades to the legacy systems on to the backup location hardware. Ensure that SOPs are in place that detail exact methods of recovery and operations are written and tested. Ensure patches are deployed to all servers from the WSUS server, maintain the data center environment, and monitor equipment. Apply experience with Windows 2000 and 2003 server and workstation platforms, Linux operating systems, Lotus notes, and system backup and recovery issues.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
-3 years of experience with the installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of the system hardware and software related to infrastructure
-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph required
-BS degree required
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite products
-Experience with resource planning
-Experience with systems analysis
-Experience with developing requirements documents
-Ability to provide evening and weekend client support on a regular basis
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills preferred
–MCSE Certification a plus
–CCNA Certification a plus
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
