Monday’s Featured Job: Cyber Capture Manager

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Capture Manager that will support the Information Operations Operating Unit of the Cyber and SIGINT Systems (C&SS) Business Unit in the Intelligence Systems Division. The C&SS BU is a critical participant in the Northrop Grumman Information Systems Sector’s Cyber Business Strategy. As part of the capture responsibilities, the candidate will follow the NGIS Business Acquisition Process (BAP) for all capture efforts. The candidate will ensure the Operating Unit, Business Unit, and Division management are kept informed in a timely manner for decision making and that the capture team is adequately prepared to progress from BAP phase to BAP phase, further refining and developing the capture effort. The candidate is responsible for developing and implementing new business and re-compete capture strategies, including: customer engagements, teaming strategies, technical solution development, competitive analysis, position/price-to-win and pricing strategies; orchestrating and implementing NGIS BAP milestones; assuring the capture team is adequately staffed writing the capture plan; and assisting with the oversight of proposal development effort, ensuring the implementation of comprehensive and compelling proposal. The candidate will brief senior level management on high-dollar item captures. As required, the candidate will work in partnership with Division and Sector BD staff and external support, as necessary, for the successful development and execution of captures. The candidate will also implement capture management best practices to include B&P estimation and tracking processes and metrics. Minimum Requirements: -Current TOP SECRET clearance -Bachelor’s Degree with 15 years combined industry experience (aerospace, military or commercial) -8 years experience in the area of capture management, business development -Knowledge of and experience in the DoD acquisition process -Knowledge of cyber warfare and informaton operations -Strong communication, negotiation, organizational and interpersonal skills Desired Requirements: Military experience as an officer with command and staff experience at various levels. Specific experience with the United States Joint Forces Command, United States Central Command, United States Special Operations Command, United States Strategic Command is desired. Advanced degree is a plus Additional Notes: Individual may reside in either the Northern Virginia, or Virginia Tidewater area Successful candidates will be results driven and possess experience working in a collaborative team environment across organizations and/or functions to manage change.
