Harris Corporation (NYSE: HRS) has awarded two high schoolers National Merit Scholarships for the sons and daughters of Harris employees. The company has been providing scholarships under the National Merit Scholarship program for the past 29 years.
“Our National Merit Scholarship sponsorship is one of the many ways that Harris supports educational initiatives. It demonstrates how cooperation between business and education ensures that talented young men and women, such as Tyler and Taylor, can pursue their academic dreams and become part of the skilled workforce of tomorrow, ” said Jeff Shuman, vice president, Human Resources and Corporate Relations.
