CGI Posts June 17 Deadline for Stanley Tender Offer

CGI (NYSE: GIB)  announced a tender offer for all of the outstanding shares of common stock of Stanley (NYSE: SXE) for $37.50 per share, net to the seller in cash, without interest and less any required withholding taxes.

According to CGI, “the tender offer is being made pursuant to an Offer to Purchase, dated May 20, 2010, and in connection with the previously announced Agreement and Plan of Merger, dated May 6, 2010 (the “Merger Agreement”), among Stanley, CGI Group Inc., CGI Federal Inc. and CGI Fairfax Corporation.”

The tender offer would expire on Thursday, June 17, 2010, but could be extended.
